Saving $$$ at A & P Supermarket

I happen to live near A &P supermarkets. There are 3 of these markets within 10 miles of my home. I don't think A&P is the cheapest supermarket, but sometimes we have to go with what is available in our area. I always recommend signing up for a supermarket's bonus card. A&P is one that offers a bonus card. They also take coupons from other supermarket chains and they DOUBLE coupons (no internet coupons ). I didn't really need a lot of things this week, but I still did well combining coupons with sale items. I spent $64.83 - my original total was $105.38.
The highlights were...

2 BabyBell cheeses for 99 cents each.
3 boxes for Quaker Instant Oatmeal for less than $4.00 total.
Capri Sun juices for $1.50.
2 Fiber One bars for $1.50 each

A good day at A&P!
